I studied English Literature and Classical Philology with a specialisation in Latin at the University of Bern and the University of Kent. From 2015-2017 I tutored the Latin courses of the University of Bern and was involved in the development of a Latin Summer School. Currently, I work on a PhD research project in Medieval English Studies.

Research Interests

  • Early medieval literature in Anglo-Saxon and Latin, especially riddle poetry, representations of the natural world, multilingual literature, as well as past representations of the past.
  •  The study of manuscript culture and glossing.
  •  Questions of influence, transmission and reception of ancient, late ancient and medieval texts in subsequent periods.
  • Late ancient, medieval and early modern epic poetry
