Eligibility
To be eligible for VML (Vorgezogene Masterleistungen), you must:
- be in your final Bachelor’s semester
- have completed at least 150 ECTS credits across your major and minor
If you meet both these criteria and wish to take VML, you must complete this form and have it signed off by your study counsellor.
Guidelines
- VML enrollment is limited to one semester.
- You may not take seminars or graded MA lectures, except for the two mandatory foundation lectures, Literary Theory and Language and Society, which run every Autumn Semester and are required to complete the MA.
- Failing either foundation lecture will result in expulsion from the MA program, so plan your semester wisely—be realistic about what you can achieve.
- In the Spring Semester, VML students may only take ungraded lectures, workshops, or independent studies.
